EPSO continuously updates their indicative schedule for competitions. We will keep updating this article to reflect those changes.
The most up-to-date indicative planning as according to the official EPSO website is as follows:

The following are the EPSO competions currently in progress:
OPEN FOR APPLICATIONS | EPSO/AD/424/25
On 24 April 2025, EPSO opened applications for a new lawyer-linguist competition to select successful laureates to work a Court of Justice in Luxembourg. You can apply directly from your preferred language profile here.
The application deadline is 28 May, 2025, so it's time to get to know the most important details from the Notice of Competition - check out this article: Applications open: EPSO Lawyer-Linguists AD7 | CJEU, which includes the link to the free webcast recording.
There will be three tests: reasoning skills, translation and translation review.

WAITING FOR A TEST DATE | EPSO/AD/423/25
Applications are validated, and now the EPSO Lawyer-linguist/legal revisers (COM-EP-Council) candidates eagerly await the big news about when the exams will take place.
There will be four tests: EU law, Language comprehension, Reasoning skills and a Revision Test

Indicative planning for 2025
EPSO is surprisingly active for this time of year, not only have they recently released the Written Test document for the Crisis and Migration exam, but they announced indicative dates for new competitions in 2025.
The announcement includes news about the AD5 Generalist competition, the most highly anticipated competition of 2025.
Here are the key dates and details:
Administrators in the Field of Taxation (Grade AD6)
We already know about this one, and if you haven't yet - sign up here for the free info webcast after applications open.
- Applications open: 17 January 2025 (date changed by EPSO on 13 January 2025) for the following three fields:
- Direct taxation (including tax law)
- Indirect taxation (including tax law)
- Note: Candidates can apply to only one field.
Lawyer-Linguists (Grade AD7)
European Parliament, Council of the EU, European Commission
- Publication Date: 4 March 2025
- Languages:
- Danish (DA), German (DE), English (EN), Estonian (ET), Croatian (HR), Dutch (NL), Romanian (RO), Slovenian (SL)
Court of Justice of the EU
- Publication Date: May 2025 (exact date TBC)
- Languages:
- Czech (CS), Danish (DA), Estonian (ET), Finnish (FI), French (FR), Italian (IT), Latvian (LV), Swedish (SV)
For both competitions above, candidates may only apply to one language profile.
Building Specialists (Grade AD7)
- Publication Date: June 2025 (exact date TBC)
- Three fields, you can only apply to one:
- Project management in the building sector
- Architecture
- Building services engineering
AST3 Communication
- Publication Date: June 2025 (exact date TBC)
- Most likely these will be the three remaining profiles from the original 2020 AST3 competition (the finance profiles just had their exams).
Generalist Administrators (Grade AD5)
- Publication Date: July 2025 (exact date TBC)
- This is the big one everyone's been waiting for since 2019!
Secretaries (Grade AST/SC1)
- Publication Date: October 2025 (exact date TBC)
