Deal all,

does anyone know the rules for receiving the expatriation allowance (for an AST  position)...

Thanks a lot beforehand!

What exactly do you want to

What exactly do you want to know ?
There is a salary calculator button on top of the forum page.
Fill everything in and you'll see approximately what you could earn. you could play a little with the fields to see what impact everything has on the salary.
I must warn that the calculator is giving in most cases (where you have children) a result that is a bit higher than reality due to the very strict rules of getting

education allowance for your children.  I guess when you say 'yes' to 'do you have children in school or university, the calculator automatically adds the school allowance, where in a lot of scenarios you are not really entitled to.

Voila;

Where is the calculator?

Where is the calculator? Sorry, I can't find it.

As far as I know you should

As far as I know you should have been living in the country where the place of employment is located for less than 5 years. Same rule applies for all permanent or temporary positions.
