In the application we can chose a third language. Could we introduce any other languages?

A question regarding French - is it really the case that we have to have either English OR French skills on a min. level B2? I think I read it in the competition notice papers that B2 in French is a MUST?

I would be more interested in working as a translator than as a linguistic assistant, however, I am not sure whether a competition for translators for my language will be held soon. Would you advise me to take part in this competition or should I rather wait for a competition for translators?

The salary is not adjusted to the cost of living, it is the same in brussel and lux.

If you work in a European Union country other than Belgium or Luxembourg, a specific weighting is applied to your pay. This weighting makes it possible to offset the higher or lower cost of living compared with Brussels.

If you already have successfully passed a verbal, numerical and abstract reasoning test for a CAST, do you need to retake that part of the exam for this competition or not?
